A SMALL PIECE OF PARADISE / THE LOCATION OF THE HOUSE WITHIN THE PLOT
The exact location of the house within the plot allows division into different gardens.
In the following figure, you see the house is located relative to the garden plot around it correctly:
At first it seems that the north side has the least space for the garden. Well, since the north side of the house is where the private bedrooms are located, it is better not to have someone walking around there in the garden next to it.
Also, the north side is shaded most of the day, and is less suitable for a garden with trees that need sun. Therefore, we will plant some shady plants there and leave a place that will allow passageway through the north side, but not much beyond that.
The house is also located closer to the east side, for two reasons:
First, so that those who enter the house do not have to travel too far until they reach the house.
And second, to allow more space for private gardens on the south and west sides.
In such a design we have a lot of space left, both on the south side and on the west side, for beautiful gardens.
Most of the garden will be located on the west side, because this is the more private area, which is far from the entrance to the house, on the east side.
The sun enters the world through the east side, and exits the world through the west (see "Entrance to the house - where from?").
Just as the optimal location for the front door is on the east side, so there should be a rear-west exit door in the living room, which will face the west courtyard.
Place the house in the plot like this - with the entrance from the east, the main garden on the west, and on the north side a narrow garden area. Thus, you take into account the interior plans of the house, and the privacy of the house is maintained, even when you are in the yard.
